So on Wednesday I finally had a chance to hold my presentation for the people present at the practice center. I was feeling a bit nervious, since it was my first time holding a presentation in English, but in the end it went much better than what I had been expecting. At the end of the presentation I had a moment for Q&A, but the students were feeling a bit shy, so I only got to answer a couple. What a shame! I was told by the teachers afterwards that the presentation had been great, especially since it was my first time performing in front of such a large audience. On Thursday I began work on a kind of a newspaper article, in which I wrote about myself, the history of Finland and gave a description of things to do in my hometown. When finished, the article turned out to be 10 pages. I spent the whole day on it, and tomorrow I'm told I'll be working in the Home décor web shop. The work is going to be pretty similar than what I've been doing in
For You and Me, but purchase orders are also included. I will be covering for Melte, since he will be away tomorrow.
The weather has been great for the last couple of days, with the sun shining all day long.
Nice to hear that your presentation was a success! Perhaps you would like to do it again back at school? Interesting to hear that the Danish students can also be shy..;)as we Finns often are! What valuable presentation experience you have gained there and received such good feedback. I does seem that you have been busy with challenging and rewarding tasks!
