The week kicked off with me doing invoicing for the Home décor web shop. The day went by pretty quickly, because I also got a chance to work doing multiple tasks. It was actually a good thing I started on the retail side, since the work in Home décor is kind of a step up from that in complexity.
The had been some kind of confusion concerning the arrival of the Italian students, but they finally arrived to Tradium on Tuesday. I got to teach one of them how the invoices were created, although there were some difficulties with the language barrier. In the end it worked out pretty well, and we got a bunch of invoices done.
Next we were told to make a business offer of the products sold by the web shop. I spent most of the day designing it, and I think it turned out pretty well, if I say so myself. I'll be receiving the final verdict on Wednesday.

The students at the school have started to talk to me a lot more, now finally getting over the timidness of using English in a conversation. It's a good thing since the one I've been spending most of my breaks with, Line, actually had her last day of work today, and its nice to have other people to converse with. We have been exchanging words from Danish to Finnish here and there, and I was issued a challenge of being able to pronounce this monstrosity by the end of the week.

The weather has been cloudy for the whole of Tuesday, but at least its not raining. Here is a picture from my apartment window. You can see the church on the left.
..So we Finns are not the only ones who are shy in using English..;) Nice to hear that you have made friends with both local and exchange students.
